Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in painting, A.G. Hollis transitioned his passion for art and the creative process into entrepreneurship and commercial real estate. His career spans more than 25 years, beginning in the highly specialized arena of healthcare real estate development, with projects across the United States and in Puerto Rico.
In 2004, Hollis founded and served as Managing Member of Capital 22, LLC, a Chicago-based commercial real estate and investment firm. Through its affiliates and strategic partners, Capital 22 provided a wide range of customized real estate services, including asset and property management, marketing and leasing, acquisition and disposition services, construction management, and property engineering. In 2013, Toronto-based Avison Young – Chicago, LLC acquired Capital 22’s property management portfolio, and Hollis served as Vice President of Management and Leasing at the firm until 2017.
Prior to forming Capital 22, Hollis worked in private development with equity firms focused on the redevelopment and adaptive reuse of industrial and commercial properties throughout the Chicago market. From 2000 to 2004, he directed operations for a portfolio development in Chicago’s West Town area, overseeing site selection, construction, financing, property management, and leasing.
In 2017, Hollis began collaborating with MAB Capital Management, LLC, where he leads real estate operations and portfolio management for assets located in Illinois, Tennessee, and Kentucky. In 2019, he also led development and construction efforts for one of the largest food and beverage concepts in Chicago’s West Loop.
In 2024, Hollis founded PAC707, LLC, a specialized commercial asset management firm focused on guiding complex and unique real estate situations. Drawing on his experience as both a property owner and developer, the firm provides asset management, consulting, strategic repositioning, property management, development management, and construction management services.
A long-time resident of Highland Park, Illinois, Hollis returned to Chicago in 2018 and now resides on the city’s North Side with his family. He is a 1993 graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, and he is a licensed Illinois real estate broker.
